 Bottom line, i had exhaust issues with my car, I had went to "Over the Hill" they helped wire my pipes to my car so it wouldn't keep dragging on the ground, but said there was no welding possible for my problem, and replacement and labor would run me about $250. Get R Done said lets see it first, then i'll tell if it can't be done. next thing i know they are telling to come pick up my car, cause its fixed. and i paid $175 for custom welding that, was over an hour of labor for two welders, and now my car ,that used to sound like a Harley with extra loud pipes, was purring with no sign that any thing had ever been wrong. So people tell me why i should ever go any where else to get anything done to my car...Support not letting troops get ripped off and GET R DONE!!!! Thanks .. I was kind of skeptical by the name at first but the people who work there are nothing but professional and don't work there to rip you off. Luckily my car only had one issue, a lousy O2 sensor needed to be replaced. I had replaced the same one a month ago but come to find out it was faulty. They connected a computer up to the car and it was an easy fix. They didn't charge me more for parts which dealerships will do. If you are looking for a very reliable and professional place to get auto work done, then this is the place to go. I turned my car in on Monday and by Thursday the car was done.  And before they did any significant work they called and let me know the quote before they started working. I highly recommend this place

I had to replace the starter on my 1998 Ford F-150 after returning from Afghanistan.  The bad starter was apparently burned and the replacement starter did not engage after the replacement.  After hours of looking through apparently good ...MoreI had to replace the starter on my 1998 Ford F-150 after returning from Afghanistan.  The bad starter was apparently burned and the replacement starter did not engage after the replacement.  After hours of looking through apparently good cabling and fuses, the mechanic uncovered an exposed section of the positive battery cable that was wedged into the frame and hidden from sight.  Lucky I didn't catch the engine on fire spraying sparks against the frame.  I was charged less than half of what I should have paid for the labor.   Before I deployed, I brought the truck in for comprehensive maintenance that I had been putting off and they did work that would have cost me $2500-2800 somewhere else for just under 2K.  I will not bring my truck to another garage while I'm in the Ft Drum area.  Would recommend them to anyone.  I trust them without reservation.  Might even let Steve hold my wallet.

I brought it to Steven who looked it over and confirmed my suspicions. He had great advice and saved me from dumping thousands of dollars down the drain on a lemon. He was very honest and helpful! I'll definitely be coming to him from now on for all of my auto repairs.

I prefer to deal with Steve directly because he's always willing to explain exactly what i need and why. Great people and fast service this is my second vehicle the first (02 Grand Cherokee Laredo) had $2000+ work done with Steve and his employees all done correctly and Steve has even worked with me to fix the issues that Fx Caprara caused with my new vehicle. This is a no nonsense place with straight forward honest work Steve will even price match so you know he genuinely wants your business if he is or ever wrong he makes it right. We need more places like this! Im sad we're moving in 14 months because finding another place like this is going to be difficult

Was able to nurse it to Get R Done early the next morning, had a vague idea what was wrong (I am a 20yo with almost no car repair skills) and they were able to get it fixed by 1 pm the same day. They were kind enough to set two mechanics to work on my car just to get it back on the road ASAP, wish every shop would do this. Very professorial owner and crew by the way. They even have a TV with Netflix/cable in their waiting room if you don't have anywhere to go. No bs with getting you crummy parts, just a good, honest shop. So glad I picked up their business card.
Faith in humanity restored.
10/10 would do again.

Get R Done is a fantastic company to work with when your car needs repairs and you find yourself at the mercy of unsavory dealerships. My Honda S2000 had been in perfect condition for nine years and after driving it cross country from Fort Irwin, CA to Fort Drum, NY it started having all sorts of problems. It was constantly low idling, not wanting to start, and sometimes even stalling out while driving on the highway. I took it to TWO Honda dealerships and neither could figure out what was wrong with it, both of their solutions were just to replace the engine - a nightmarish proposal when you're strapped for cash. Anyway, I took it to Get R Done because I had heard they were honest and fairly priced. I figured I had nothing to lose because no one else could figure out what was going on and I just wanted my car back. Steve was wonderful, I probably bugged him to no end calling almost every day to check in and see what the progress was in diagnosing and fixing my car. Turns out there were a lot of complicated issues that had snowballed into ruining my engine, but Steve took the time to keep me updated and make the effort to find the most cost-effective solution. They did a complete engine-rebuild and my car drives like brand-new. Steve and his team took the time to learn about the intricacies of my persnickety car to make sure they did the job right, and rather than throw their hands up and say "well, we can't figure it out so we'll just replace the engine" they were able to diagnose the problem and fix it for me. I enjoyed my interactions with him and his team, I feel like I can trust them, and I will definitely be using them for all my car needs while living here in upstate New York.

This place is absolutely wonderful for anyone looking to get work done to their car without the paranoia of being ripped off. I needed the front axle on my vw golf replaced (btw Goodluck finding somewhere else in the area that does work on VWs). The part ended up being 30 dollars more than what I was told, did they charge me the extra 30 dollars? No, they bit the bullet and paid the difference themselves because customer satisfaction means more to them than making a pretty penny. Seriously, if you're looking for good and honest work, bring your vehicles here

This is my first choice for car repairs in the Watertown area!! They are always honest and beat everyone's prices. They aren't out to just make a buck!! They've always been so accommodating and willing to work me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop!!!!

This has been our go-to shop for four years. From an inspection or oil change to complete engine replacement, they're competitive, thorough and knowledgeable. My husband always says when we move all we need is a good church and a good mechanic (I'd add an awesome hair salon to that list!!!) and we hit the jackpot here. We are gonna miss Steve, Jeff and the crew.

The service here is remarkably fast, probably due to the influx of business that Get R Done is CONSTANTLY receiving from all around Watertown, Black River, and pretty much anywhere else in the area. They work efficiently and have a great, NO BS attitude about your car. I've had my vehicle serviced at Get R Done twice, and can honestly say they go above and beyond what is expected. They don't do any of their own advertising yet they are always overflowing with business; do the math yourself.
